Since we operate without state funding, we are free to host and display the work of performers, visual artists and other creatives without restrictions. For example, in order for artists to quality for certain Arts Council grant supports, they must have held at least one public exhibition of their work. This is a chicken-and-egg difficulty for emerging artists who difficulty finding a gallery ready to exhibit their work. By meeting this need we give new artists this support.

Groups of artists, players, performers etc. who want to rent space from us do not require their own insurance, as our policy covers them. This seemingly minor accommodation has made a significant difference to organisations who struggle to find space when they are still in the early stage of their formation, when they have neither the financial resources nor the structures to cope with a demanding regulatory environment.
