Main Theatre, Crawford Art College, Thursday 23rd February, 4pm.

A practical and effective workshop for experienced actors with John Dawson. 2 full days of intensive work and a dvd of your performance. Explore the technical skills required for natural on camera performances. Develop physical dexterity to modulate the volume of their behavious for the perimeters of the various frames (ie: master shot, medium shot, close up). Explore the cold-read, the prepared audition, commercial auditions, the call-back, and the interview. Participants will receive a dvd of their work to camera.

Held approx. every 2 to 3 months  the work shop is open to  both artists and models.  About 150 people have taken part so far. People from all over Ireland come to Cork for this workshop.  Set up in association with World Naked Bike Ride Cork you can catch up with events and news on Cork Bodypainting on facebook or email us for info.

Starting on the 12th of February there will be a regular writers group for women and men of all levels of experience who'd like to discuss their own work and that of others in a welcoming, supportive environment.  For more information contact Kathy on 086 8822012.
