Visions School of Art classes
Wednesdays & Thursdays 7pm - 9pm
Visions School of Art is singular as an institute of art-learning, because what is studied and taught at Visions is book-ended by, one one hand, a concern for the honing of craft and skill in any drawing and painting media, and, on the other, an intention to explore the student’s creative process, including what is meant by the Imagination. These concerns mean that students can come to the art school to simply learn or improve a skill, participate in a workshop or class aimed at opening up the student’s individuality and resourcefulness as an artist, or both at once.
Classes are taught by Andrew Carroll BA MA Visual Arts practice. Andrew has considerable experience teaching Art to students of all age groups; he has worked as an art teacher at Trinity Arts Workshop (Trinity College), and as an Art workshop facilitator for teenagers for many art schools, institutions and bodies, including The Emerald Cultural Institute, Sky Arts (TV Channel) and for the City of Dublin Education and Training Board (formerly VEC).
