Exhibition Space

Camden Palace invites Artists & Photographers of all persuasions to submit a proposal to exhibit their work in this well lit and workable environment space in Cork’s city centre.
The space available is capable of displaying a comprehensive individual or group show, spanning a considerable corridor, reception area, staircase, landing as well as the community learning room.The art exhibition programme for 2016 is now fully booked. People are welcome to apply for 2017 with an email & links to a portfolio or examples of their work to: [email protected]

Theatre/Cinema

Probably the smallest theatre in Cork, this space has proven a novel environment for actors to rehearse & perform to the public in. Its intimate feel brings the audience in close proximity to the performers and is a great testing ground for those looking to develop a show or performance

The theatre also doubles as a cinema with a projector, screen and sound system available for hire.
The red carpet and black drape curtains complete the experience necessary for the full cinematic experience.

Whether for Camden Palace’s weekly cineclub, The Deja View on a Wednesday evening, your own private screening, presentation, demonstration or even video game tournament!…The Camden Palace theatre offers a complete presentation environment for hire in Cork City Centre.

Community Learning Room

This room, the largest available for general hire at Camden Palace is a multi-purpose space perfect for workshops, meetings, classes, exhibitions, performances and small music concerts.
The Community Learning Room is well lit with tables and chairs available. A sink is also installed for people’s use.Further facilities available for hire through Camden Palace to complete your event include:
PA System with Microphones, Digital Projector , LED Lighting System, Computer, Wi-Fi.

Private Artist Studios

These well lit and functional private spaces in the heart of Cork City Centre are perfect for Artists of most persuasions to develop their practice and production. 24/7 building access is provided with full kitchen & wash facilities, Wi-Fi and use of the exhibition space within Camden Palace Hotel Community Arts Centre.

Artists are welcome to check for availability to apply for a studio space.
