Body Painting

Body parts painting by Jan Diederen

15th February only from 6 – 9 PM
Fee: €10 per artist; € 5 per model. Concessions are as always possible
Contact: 085 1451777 / [email protected]

Description
This workshop will be focused on arms shoulders and necks of the models. The idea is to transform your models shoulders and arms into realistic looking, different animals or animal parts. For instance you can paint a flying bird on homebody’s back with the stretched wing extended over the arms. You can paint it into the back and paws of a Lion. You can even choose to paint a flamingo who’s neck covers the arm and who’s head is painted on the arm.

We advise you to have a good think about what you will be painting on the day, and how to best place it on the model.
Also, because your painting can and will move, it needs to be painted in such a manner that those movements enhance the painting you made, we advise all painters to also volunteer as model. This will enable you to experience the effects from the other side (inside),
ie, what movements are possible or not.
Preferably we would like each participant to be both painter and model, but this will not be a condition, you don’t have to.

On the night you will be coached, advised, and tutored as much as you please, but we will not tell you what to do or choose.
