Acting for Absolute Beginners by Maria O’Callaghan

Descrition:
Come and have fun while learning to act in an open and friendly environment. This class is for people who have always wanted to try acting but could never take that first step. Build your confidence and learn acting skills like improvisation, stage craft etc. This eight week course will give you an understanding of acting and will culminate in an end of term performance for family and friends.

CV:
Maria has been acting and teaching since 1979 in classical theatre, musical theatre, improve, etc. She has a passion for stage craft and realism. Her most recent stage work includes Hamlet (Touring), The Mai (Cork Arts Theatre), Puss in Boots (Touring), She Said What!?! (Cork Arts Theatre), King Lear (Touring). She is one of the many theatre practitioners who meet to develop ideas in Camden Palace on Thursday mornings. All Welcome!!

Tuesday 10 AM-12 and Wednesday 7-9 PM
Evening - €90 for 8 weeks. Day - €5 per class.
